Design Process

First, we decided to choose both the color sensor and the ultrasonic sensor as our way to identifying different bins. We are using two sensors together to get a more accurate reading.

Then we divided the program into small functions that our group members can work on individually:

  • Follow line
  • Go to bin with color
  • Load container
  • Transfer container
  • Deposit container
  • Return home

After each function is finished, we piece them together and we get a working program in a few weeks!
